Intents Christian Summer Camp
Inspiring hearts to be captivated by Christs love, while having a craicing holiday.

Intents is a Christian summer camp that is run to support churches in the Cavan/Monaghan and wider border area. The junior camp is for 3rd to 6th class national school and the senior camp is 1st to 6th year secondary school.
Everyone is welcome, doesn’t matter if you have been to church all your life, or never stepped foot across a church door before. It is an amazing chance to have fun together and to learn from the bible.
The timetable is intense, the activities are fun and designed to help the teens integrate. Some teens arrive not knowing anyone, some come as part of a youth group, but we make sure everyone gets a chance to connect.
- What happens on camp? Amongst all the sports, crafts, challenges and games, we have time together and in groups exploring the Christian faith, thinking hard about challenging issues, and searching the bible to see what God’s word says.
- When did it first start? We had our first Intents camp back in July of 2017. Since then, camp has happened every year (apart from 2020 & 2021 due to Covid-19).
- Associated ministries: Intents works in partnership with Leinster Christian Holidays, and we have a sister camp called ‘Summer Soul’ that support the churches in the greater Dublin area.

Camp is run by a committee of members from various churches in Cavan and Monaghan.
